This Privacy Policy explains how CV Genius handles the personal information and documents you share when placing an order. It applies to the CV Genius website and to the intake, tracking and delivery process.

Information we collect

When you complete an intake form, we collect your name, email address, optional WhatsApp or phone number, country or region, and the information you choose to provide about your career, education, skills and target opportunity. You may also upload existing CV documents, cover letters, portfolios, transcripts, letters of reference, images, and voice notes to help us prepare your order.

Why we collect personal documents

The documents and information you upload are used only to prepare the career documents you have ordered and to respond to your revision requests. We do not use your information to market unrelated products, and we do not sell it to third parties.

File storage and access

Uploaded files are stored in a secure managed database. Downloads occur through short-lived signed links. Access is limited to CV Genius staff working on your order and to the automated systems required to store and deliver those files.

Payment information

CV Genius receives only the transaction information or payment proof needed to match and verify your payment. Current payment methods include 1stPay, bank transfer and PayPal. CV Genius does not ask customers to send banking passwords, card PINs or other account-security information.

Email and WhatsApp notifications

We send transactional messages related to your order — for example, an order confirmation, a payment confirmation, and a notification when your documents are ready. If you provide a WhatsApp number, we may also send order updates by WhatsApp. These messages are not marketing.

Retention and deletion

We retain your order information and files for a reasonable period so that we can support revisions and future updates. You may request deletion of your intake information and uploaded files by contacting us using the details below. Certain records may be retained where required to comply with legal, accounting or fraud- prevention obligations.
